Adding Your Server
Adding your Minecraft server to BMCSL is free and takes just a few minutes.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1Create an account or log in to your existing account
- 2Click + Add Server in the navigation bar
- 3Enter your server's IP address and port (default 25565 for Java)
- 4We'll automatically detect your server's player count and status
- 5Fill in the details:
- Server Name — Your server's display name
- Description — Tell players what makes your server special
- Gamemode Tags — Select all relevant gamemodes (survival, pvp, skyblock, etc.)
- Version — The Minecraft version your server runs
- Platform — Java, Bedrock, or Both
- 1Upload a banner image (recommended: 468x60 or 16:9 ratio)
- 2Click Submit to publish your listing
Optimizing Your Listing
Write a Great Description
- Be specific about what makes your server unique
- Mention key features: custom plugins, events, economy, etc.
- Include your Discord invite link
- Keep it concise but informative
Choose the Right Tags
Tags determine which category pages your server appears on. Choose all relevant ones:
- Primary gamemode (survival, skyblock, pvp, etc.)
- Server style (vanilla, modded, semi-vanilla)
- Special features (economy, towny, crossplay)
Upload a Quality Banner
- High-resolution images rank better visually
- Include your server name and IP in the banner
- Animated banners (MP4/WebM) are supported for premium servers
Claiming & Verification
After listing, you can claim ownership of your server to unlock management features:
- Edit your listing details anytime
- Access server analytics and vote statistics
- Set up Votifier for in-game vote rewards
- Respond to player reviews
To claim: Go to your server page → Click Claim This Server → Follow the verification steps.
