Player's guide
Is Oggy mc worth joining?
Oggy mc stands out for combining Lifesteal with practice, economy, and SMP rather than relying on one mode alone. The catch is that current activity is modest and came only after a long inactive stretch, so expect a small active window rather than a full server all day.
When Oggy mc is busiest (average players by hour, UTC)
A recent comeback after weeks at zero
The clearest story in Oggy mc's numbers is the gap between its past peak and its current reality. It reached an all-time peak of 119 players in early January 2026, but the last 12 weeks show a long dead zone through August with several weeks at 0 average and 0 peak. Activity returned in late September and has held at 4.5 to 6 average players into early October.
That matters more than the old peak. Right now, this looks like a server that came back to life with a small group rather than one riding steady momentum all year. The period split says the same thing: the first half of tracked activity averaged 0 players, while the second half averaged 5.5. For a new joiner, that means there is finally something happening again, but not on the scale the January peak might suggest.
Best chance to find people on Friday and weekends
Play timing is fairly narrow. Weekend average players sit at 6, compared with 4.5 on weekdays, and Friday is the busiest day. If you want the best chance of seeing others online, aim for the end of the week rather than quieter midweek sessions.
The busiest recorded hours are 18:00 UTC, 02:00 UTC, and 04:00 UTC. That gives the server two useful windows: European evening around 18:00 UTC, and a later overnight stretch that better suits players in the Americas. The strange part is that 17:00 UTC is also listed as a quietest hour with 0 average players, so activity may switch on and off sharply rather than ramping smoothly through the evening.
Small active pool, not a broad revolving crowd
Recent activity looks narrow rather than expansive. Only 8 unique players were sampled, with 0 seen 10 or more times and 0 new players sampled in the last 30 days. That usually points to a server that is active in bursts but not currently bringing in a stream of fresh faces.
There is not much community feedback to balance that out. Oggy mc has 4 total votes, the last one back in December 2025, and 0 reviews. So there is very little public evidence yet about how players rate the atmosphere, moderation, or long-term retention. If you join, you are judging mostly from the mode mix and the live player count you find at your own play time.
